5 things i started doing…. to feel like myself again

1. I stopped trying to do everything perfectly. “Good enough” is what saved me.

2. I stopped comparing my motherhood. No two journeys look the same. You are doing your best, do not compare. It does not matter if another mom has bought a prettier toy or a more expensive accessory. You are the best for your child, and you are doing your best — trust me.

3. I stopped saying yes to everything. Protecting my energy saved everything. Doing what I thought was best for my child (and right to me), be it food, play, or clothes.

4. I stopped ignoring what I love. Slowly finding my way back to me. Started doing things for myself again — calligraphy, little things that make me happy and make me feel content.

5. I stopped feeling guilty for taking a break. A date night or even a short walk made a happier mom.
