Mother's Emotional Paradox<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Just as I sat down to write this blog, my 7-month-old woke up\u2014and I felt a wave of irritation.<\/p>

I picked him up, sat on the swing, and as he curled into me, I found myself wondering:<\/div>
Can anger and love exist at the same time?<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Let’s break it!<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
How many times have you had to drop the laundry, turn off the stove, leave food half-cooked, or rush out of the bathroom at the sound of your baby crying?<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
How often have you skipped your coffee or chai, or given up your evening nap because your child needed you more in that moment\u2014choosing them over yourself, without a second thought?<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Have you let your baby cry for a few extra seconds just to finish something, only to return to bloodshot eyes and tear-streaked cheeks\u2014and feel that instant wave of guilt, wishing you had gone sooner?<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Don\u2019t hesitate to admit it.<\/div>
We\u2019ve all been there.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
So, can anger and love exist at the same time?<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Yes, they can\u2014<\/div>
because a mother\u2019s love is vast enough to hold both. Even in your most overwhelmed moments, you are still showing up, with LOVE.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Guilt doesn\u2019t make you a bad mother; it makes you human. Because before you became a mother, you were a person first.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
It\u2019s okay to want to scream, or to long for a moment of stillness\u2014<\/div>
a small pause from being needed all the time.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Because at the end of it all,\u00a0<\/div>
“she always finds her way back — to becoming a loving mother.”
