This is the first time I am leaving my child behind \u2014 with her beloved grandparents.<\/p>

And still, my heart aches as I step away.<\/p>

I can\u2019t believe it happened so soon\u2026 that I would have to leave her and go somewhere so far.<\/p>

I always told myself I would prepare her well.<\/p>

That I would make her independent enough to not always need me.<\/p>

And today, when I actually see her doing just fine\u2026 I feel something unexpected.<\/p>

I am happy\u2026 and yet, I am sad.<\/p>

Happy because she is okay.<\/p>

Because she is safe, loved, and comfortable without me right beside her.<\/p>

But sad\u2026 because leaving her still hurts in a way I didn\u2019t fully expect.<\/p>

Maybe this is what motherhood quietly teaches you \u2014<\/p>

that even when you are doing everything right, your heart will still sometimes feel torn.<\/p>

Because loving a child means learning this strange balance\u2026<\/p>

of letting go, while never really letting go.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

To see that smile,<\/p>

just once again,<\/span><\/p>

I would stop the time,<\/span><\/p>

in a loop, I\u2019d stay.<\/p>

Every tear you drop,<\/p>

every cry I hear,<\/p>

my heart aches a little more.<\/p>

And if I could,<\/p>

I would never let you cry.<\/p>

But motherhood is not only soft embraces<\/p>

and rescuing you from every fall.<\/p>

A mother pampers you,<\/p>

but this mother will strengthen you too \u2014<\/p>

so, you face the world<\/p>

bravely, gently,<\/p>

and always with a smile.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
